Solar activity is moderate. Region NOAA 12733 produced three C-class flares since the last
report, a C2.1 flare at 21:18 UT yesterday and also a C5.2 flare at 05:56 UT today and
a C1.4 flare at 11:15 UT today. The region is too close to the limb to get a good idea
of exactly what is happening with the magnetic field configuration but it appears to be
still beta class. Further C-class flares likely.

Solar activity is low. No significant flare events have been observed since the last report.
The change in the BBSO web server is underway, however we are in the process of
updating a number of systems and some features may not work yet. Since the
last report a new active region has emerged near center disk, region NOAA 12733.
This region is a simple beta region. No significant flare events are expected today.
NOAA 12733, N06 W03 (X= 50,Y= 193). Beta region. Position as of January 24, 2019 at 18:00 UT. JV |
