A wide bright loop was first seen in C2 at 07:45 UT in the NE; by 10:30 UT the front spanned ~265 deg from PA 155-40. The front first appeared in the NE in C3 images at 09:42 UT and reached its maximal extent by 11:18 UT. The mean plane-of-sky speed was 651 km/s, measured at PA 355 with strong acceleration to ~10 Rs and a more linear profile thereafter: the mean speed beyond 10 Rs was 898 km/s. EIT observed a number of eruptive events associated with this CME. The bright front to the N appears to be associated with a large expanding eruptive loop system and subsequent eruptive prominence that EIT observed between 05:00 - 08:12 UT centered N08E19, N of AR 0484. These loops are later seen spanning N25E44 - N15W08 by 07:13 UT though the eruptive prominence appears more spatially limited. Then between 08:36 - 09:12 UT much activity was observed in and S of AR 0483 which appears to activate and destabilise a large prominence which erupts between 09:12 - 10:24 UT. The greater part of this prominence from S43E44 to S04W15 erupts and this appears to be associated with the front that appears to the S in LASCO images from 09:54.
