Halo CME on 20061213 - SOHO/LASCO C3 Data

COMMENTS: If the ejecta will be observed as a well pronounced magnetic cloud we expect this cloud to be right handed; the axis of the cloud is expected to be west-east oriented with the axial field pointing westward (positive By). The axial field is forecasted to be northward at the front edge turning southward in the trailing part of the MC. This southward tail field has potential to cause strong geomagnetic storm with the Dst index of -150 nT and higher.

1Numbers in red are estimates. Numbers in parenthesis (if any) are actual measured values
*These estimates should be compared to the observed 1 hour averaged ACE and Dst values
