Halo CME on 20031117 - SOHO/LASCO C3 Data

COMMENTS: In the current case, the magnetic field at the front side of the ejecta is hard to determine. The CME originated at 30 East of the disk center and it may be a geoeffective one. In the case it hits the earth there is a chance that the southward component can be as high as -20nT, although -30nT is also possible.

It seems that the CME missed the earth
